JOYSTICK has been bubbling along nicely on the underground scene for a while now. It was Number 1 on the Australian Dance radio show, ZFM, for 4 weeks and managed to stay in the top 5 for a total of 10 weeks.
Niels Von Geyer(MOS, Germany) loved the minimalism of the Jo Jamato mix, in America it was championed by Gary Cannavo of MASSPOOL DJ association; Delmar Browne and Joey Rivaldo of SIRIUS Radio all of whom opted for the robotic feel of the original Radio edit. In the UK, James Blond,
Lee Butler(Radio City), Pencil (MOS), Radio Killaz(Freeze)
Miss XS (HouseNation) all went for the Power club mix with its great references to the UK music scene;
and even Eric Morillo got in on the act, raving about the Trinitronic extra mix.
